Up date from Jill Haynes

Morning Sydling

Just to update you as several people have emailed me with concerns about the forthcoming sewer lining works. The works In Orchard Close and then in Greyhound yard are just fillers between other in works around other contracts that the sub contractors have to do. I am meeting with Chris Legg, Wessex Water, Dorset Council highways and the sub contractors in about 10 days time and by then they should have a schedule of works and dates for the main works in the village. I want to ensure that school transport and waste collection is not disrupted and that they are aware of forthcoming events in the village. As soon as this has happened I will ensure there is a public meeting so people can understand what will happen during spring and early summer and raise any questions. It is likely to cause quite a bit of disruption but it is unfair to those on the ground trying to do the job for them to get all the flack. I you will just bear with me as soon as there are answers to your questions I will let you know. Best wishes. Jill
